About us
The Bristol School of Holistic Therapies is a recognised as a leading school
in the teaching of Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage and commands an excellent reputation.
History of the School
The School was originally established as the Bristol School of Aromatherapy in 1995 with the
aim of offering a highly professional Aromatherapy course accredited by the leading Aromatherapy
body in the UK. The course allows students with little or no experience in therapy to become
fully qualified, confident practising therapists, running their own professional business.
A few years later the Reflexology course was created with the same aims as before. The School then
became Bristol School of Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
When in 2001, Indian Head Massage was added to the curriculum, the School adopted its present name
whilst still maintaining the original names for each of the individual courses.
We continue to add professionally accredited courses our syllabus
that suitable for complete beginners as well as established therapists
wishing to expand the therapies they offer.
We are also introducing some short courses. These are either introductory
"taster" courses for beginners to sample a therapy for use
on themselves, family and friends or advanced courses for qualified
therapists to expand their knowledge and to gain CPD (Continuous
Professional Development) points.
