The Bristol School of Holistic Therapies is a recognised as a leading school in the teaching of Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage and commands an excellent reputation.
History of the Bristol School of Holistic Therapies
The School was originally established as the Bristol School of Aromatherapy in 1996 with the aim of offering a highly professional Aromatherapy course accredited by the leading Aromatherapy body in the UK. A year or so later the Reflexology course was created with the same professional aims. The School then became Bristol School of Aromatherapy and Reflexology. When in 2001, Indian Head Massage was added to the curriculum, the School adopted its present name whilst still maintaining the original names for each of the individual courses.
Our tutors are experienced therapy professionals who have many years of experience in their respective fields. Some have been with us from the early days of the school, whilst others are graduates of our courses.
Our students range from early 20’s to over 60 years old, they are usually women, from a wide range of backgrounds. Our only requirement is that they have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
Our classes are mainly held at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Bristol’s city centre and occasionally at our Orchard Street business address which is a street away from the Council House on College Green.
Due to the quality of our courses, we attract students from a wide area. To give you some idea of travelling times to the School here is a list based on normal travelling times by car – weekend travelling under normal conditions should be quicker.
